Plain-language change summary

The amendments to the bill clarify that coverage for the diagnosis and treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction is applicable to both government programs and health insurance policies that are issued or renewed after the effective date of this subsection. The text also includes a minor adjustment regarding the phrasing for conditions covered under the insurance. Additionally, the earlier definition of "government program" has been removed, though it does not change the coverage requirements overall. This matters because it helps ensure consistency in the application of coverage across different types of insurance plans.
