What changed in the latest version
120 added · 81 removedPlain-language change summary
The latest version of Bill SB 804 has made important updates to clarify definitions related to health care products. Specifically, it defines "intentionally added DEHP" to highlight its deliberate use in products and removes the term "Diethyl phthalate" (DEP) from the list of ortho-phthalate chemicals, which could impact regulations on certain medical materials. These changes matter as they refine the focus on specific chemicals that may affect patient safety and environmental health in health care settings.
