in effect 90 days from passage (May 31, 2026)] Enr CS for SB 210 AN ACT to amend and reenact §16-29E-3 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended;
(a) "Agency" means those various agencies, authorities, boards, committees, and commissions or departments of the Department of Health and Human Resources with authority to promulgate legislative rules pursuant to this chapter that regulate health care providers, practitioners, or consumers;
(b) "Commission" means the Legislative Oversight Commission on Health and Human Resources Accountability;
and (c) "Department" means the Department of Health and Human Resources, and any successor agencies.
CS for SB 210 "Output measure" means the tabulation, calculation, or recording of activity or effort and can be expressed in a quantitative or qualitative manner;
Enr CS for SB 210 "Performance goal" means a target level of performance expressed as a tangible, measurable objective, against which achievement shall be compared, including a goal expressed as a quantitative standard, value, or rate;
CS for SB 210 §16-29E-10.
Enr CS for SB 210 (b) Beginning July 1, 2027, and annually thereafter, each department shall submit a program performance report to the commission.
CS for SB 210 (f) The reports, strategic plans, performance plans, and program performance reports required under this article shall be conducted only by employees of the departments.
Enr CS for SB 210 (1) The major activities for the preceding year, including important policy decisions reached on initiatives undertaken during that year;
