The recent amendment to Bill SB 899 includes a new clause that specifically prohibits the sale or distribution of kratom products to minors under certain conditions. This change is significant because it adds protections against potentially harmful products being made available to young people, particularly if the kratom is mixed with unsafe non-kratom ingredients. By addressing these concerns, the amendment aims to safeguard minors from products that could pose health risks.
