Plain-language change summary

The amendment clarifies that pharmacists can order and administer tests for COVID-19 or COVID-19 antibodies authorized by the federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA). It also specifies that pharmacies must ensure the tests are genuine and maintain social distancing protocols to protect individuals seeking tests. Additionally, it defines that administering a test includes overseeing the collection of specimens and sending them to an authorized laboratory. This helps structure the process for testing, ensuring safety measures are in place during the administration of the tests.
