Plain-language change summary

The amendments to SB 516 clarify that the Roofing Hearing Board is responsible for investigating complaints about roofing contractors operating without a valid registration. Now, the Board can take action on these complaints even if the contractor stops the illegal activity. This change strengthens enforcement against unregistered roofing contractors, which is important for protecting consumers and ensuring that all roofing work meets safety and legal standards.
