Plain-language change summary

The amendments to SB 706 clarify the rules regarding funding for school building projects, particularly after a natural disaster. Key wording was added to outline how funds from various sources, including county collections and donations, can be utilized for replacing damaged buildings. These changes are important because they establish a clearer framework for how schools can access necessary financial resources when they face significant rebuilding challenges, ultimately helping students return to safe learning environments more quickly.
