Plain-language change summary

The proposed amendment to House Bill 1182 removes the entire original content of the bill and replaces it with new language focused on public retirement systems. Specifically, it now emphasizes changes to Oklahoma's Law Enforcement Retirement System and includes a new definition relevant to that system. This matters because it streamlines the bill's focus and clarifies provisions regarding the retirement benefits for new employees in law enforcement, which could impact how these systems operate and benefit officers in the future.
