Plain-language change summary

The recent amendments to Bill SB 341 clarify the powers of the Department of Transportation regarding state-owned railroad properties. The changes include updating the language around lease-purchase agreements and simplifying the process for selling or leasing these properties. This matters because it aims to streamline operations and enhance the state's ability to manage its railroad assets effectively. Enhanced management can lead to better use of resources and improved transportation options in Oklahoma.
