In the latest version of SB 1104, significant changes were made to the regulations concerning medical marijuana inventory management in Oklahoma. The amended bill clarifies that the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority will oversee and audit marijuana businesses, ensuring accurate tracking of products through a new inventory system. This change is important because it aims to enhance accountability and prevent misuse within the medical marijuana market by requiring detailed records for every transaction involving marijuana businesses and patients. This transparency is expected to improve safety and compliance in the industry.
