The revisions to Bill HB 1982 introduce a requirement for electronic contracts between schools and vendors to include specific stipulations. These changes allow for clearer terms regarding contract termination and any penalties or damages that may apply. This matters because it can help protect schools by ensuring they have more control and clarity in their contracts with publishers, ultimately leading to better decision-making and potentially cost savings.

6.
