Plain-language change summary

The HB 2050 bill has been updated to clarify the requirements for foreign applicants seeking medical licensure in Oklahoma. It specifies that these applicants must have an approved medical degree from a foreign school and verifies that the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) will provide necessary documentation. This change ensures a clearer process for foreign medical professionals, which could help address workforce shortages by allowing qualified individuals to practice in Oklahoma more effectively.
