Plain-language change summary

The amendment to Bill HB 3501 introduces a new section that allows the Alcoholic Beverage Laws Enforcement (ABLE) Commission to grant multiple manufacturing licenses for alcoholic beverages to applicants operating on the same premises, as long as they are in good standing with relevant authorities. This change is significant because it could potentially enable breweries, distilleries, and wineries to collaborate more easily and enhance production efficiency, fostering growth in the local beverage industry. Additionally, it clarifies that this provision does not apply to distribution or wholesale licenses, keeping the focus on manufacturing.
