Plain-language change summary

The updated version of SB 667 includes a clarification regarding the qualifications of chiropractic programs, specifying that these must be accredited by a recognized body. Additionally, it allows licensed chiropractors to treat animals, provided they are certified by the Board, while also enabling them to treat referred animals without needing that certification. This change is significant because it not only enhances the professional standards for chiropractic practice but also expands the scope of services chiropractors can provide to include animal care.
