Plain-language change summary

The recent amendment to Bill SB 375 allows the Oklahoma Commissioner of Public Safety to establish formal agreements with other government agencies and state educational institutions regarding policing and setting speed limits on roads owned by state beneficiary public trusts. This change removes some procedural barriers, making it easier for local authorities to manage public safety in these areas. This matters because it provides greater flexibility for law enforcement to address safety issues on specific roads while enhancing collaboration between state agencies and community entities.
