What changed in the latest version

The updated bill clarifies the language regarding stopping at railroad crossings, specifying that drivers must stop within 50 feet but not less than 15 feet from the nearest rail when certain signals or conditions are present. It maintains the requirements for stopping when a train is nearby, whether indicated by a visible signal, a lowered gate, an audible signal, or the train's visible proximity. Additionally, the amendment removes some redundant wording for clarity. These changes aim to enhance understanding and compliance with railroad crossing safety regulations.
