The amendments to the bill clarify the definitions related to compensable disability for covered individuals. Specifically, the language was updated to simplify the phrasing surrounding the conditions under which a disability is compensable, including the ability of individuals to receive benefits if they can return to work on a reduced basis while recovering. These changes help ensure that the text is clearer and more accessible for understanding eligibility for benefits.
