The bill SB 201 has been amended to change the starting year for a new minimum salary schedule for certified personnel in Oklahoma schools from the 2025-2026 school year to the 2026-2027 school year. This shift gives schools more time to prepare for the increased salary requirements. Adjusting these timelines is significant because it impacts budgeting and hiring practices, ensuring that schools can effectively implement the new salary structure.
