Plain-language change summary

The revised version of Bill SB 2072 clarifies how individuals who are victims of title theft can file a notice of fraudulent conveyance. The changes emphasize that not only the victim but also someone acting on their behalf can file this notice, which helps ensure that those unable to represent themselves still have a way to protect their property rights. This is important because it strengthens protections for vulnerable individuals, making it easier for them to address fraudulent claims against their property.
