Plain-language change summary

The recent amendment to SB 752 expands the powers of county purchasing agents in Oklahoma by allowing them to use electronic methods for various procurement processes, such as soliciting bids and notifying vendors. This update is important because it aims to streamline and enhance the efficiency of county purchasing, making it easier for local governments to acquire necessary materials and equipment. By modernizing these procedures, counties can potentially save time and resources, ultimately benefiting the community they serve.
