The recent changes to Senate Bill 272 involve adjustments to the annual fees for various alcoholic beverage licenses. Specifically, the fees for brewer licenses will remain the same, while the fees for distiller licenses have been categorized based on production levels. These changes are important because they aim to create a more equitable fee structure that reflects the size and production capacity of the businesses, potentially making it more accessible for smaller distillers to operate.
