Plain-language change summary

The recent changes to Bill SB 130 focus on the Corporation Commission's responsibility to conduct a feasibility study on nuclear energy in Oklahoma. It clarifies that this study must begin within 90 days of the bill's effective date and allows the Commission to bypass the usual state procurement process for hiring expert consultants in the nuclear field. This matters because it aims to expedite the evaluation of nuclear energy generation, potentially opening the door for new energy sources in the state.
