Plain-language change summary

The amendments to SB 366 require school district boards to provide specific notices when a lessee fails to decide on purchasing certain property in a timely manner. Additionally, if there are multiple charter schools interested in purchasing or leasing, the bill now mandates a lottery system for selection. These changes aim to improve transparency and fairness in school property transactions, ensuring that all stakeholders are adequately informed and that the selection process is equitable.
