What changed in the latest version
19 added · 18 removedPlain-language change summary
The latest version of HB 435 has made some key updates by changing how particular sections of existing law are handled. Specifically, instead of simply repealing a section, it's now being recodified, which means the content will be moved to a different part of the law rather than eliminated. Additionally, the new effective date indicates that specific sections of the bill will start a bit later, which allows time for any related changes to be implemented. These adjustments are important because they clarify the intended legal framework and provide a timeline for when these changes will take effect.
