Rules and Operations of the Senate April 30, 2026 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT TO ENSURE VITAL FOOD SECURITY AND YOUTH PROGRAMS CONTINUE TO RECEIVE STATE FUNDING REGARDLESS OF PASSAGE OF THE ANNUAL BUDGET.
There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Office of State BudgetandManagementBudget thesumofsixmilliondollars($6,000,000)inrecurringfundsbeginningandManagement thesumofsix milliondollars($6,000,000)inrecurringfundsbeginning in the 2026-2027 fiscal year to be used to address root causes of food insecurity by providing directed grants in equal amounts to the following six nonprofit corporations:
