In the proposed amendment to Senate Bill 1061, the text has been updated to include a reference to the VA Community Care Network, specifically identifying it as a resource for veterans who are mothers. While the overall title and purpose of the bill remain the same, this change clarifies where these mothers can seek support and services. This matters because it ensures that the needs of veteran mothers are addressed in a targeted way, potentially improving their access to essential healthcare resources.
