Plain-language change summary

The updated version of House Bill 696 adds a specific requirement for health care advertisements. Now, ads must not only include the type of license held by a practitioner but also ensure that no misleading information is presented. This change aims to enhance transparency and protect patients from confusion about the qualifications of health care providers, helping them make more informed decisions about their care. Additionally, the bill clarifies that individuals not licensed to practice medicine cannot refer to themselves with medical titles, reinforcing the importance of proper professional representation.
