The recent amendment to Senate Bill 898 includes a clarification about how counties must communicate their financial information to the Secretary of Revenue. Specifically, a minor change in wording has been made to ensure consistency and clarity regarding notification processes. This matters because clear guidelines can help prevent confusion and ensure that counties comply with their financial reporting obligations, ultimately affecting budget planning and funding distributions.
