Plain-language change summary

The revised Bill HB 797 has added specific rights for homeowners engaged in residential property wholesaling, allowing them to cancel transactions if certain conditions aren't met. This change clearly states that failing to provide homeowners with this cancellation right is considered an unfair trading practice, empowering homeowners to take legal action if needed. The inclusion of this provision is important because it strengthens protections for homeowners, ensuring they have recourse if they feel misled or pressured during property deals. Additionally, the Attorney General will be able to enforce these rights, offering another layer of oversight in these transactions.
