Rules and Operations of the Senate April 22, 2026 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE BEAUFORT COUNTY TO LEVY AN OCCUPANCY TAX IN A TAX DISTRICT COMPRISING ALL AREAS OF THE COUNTY OTHER THAN THE INCORPORATED AREA IN THE CITY OF WASHINGTON.
The Beaufort County Board of Commissioners shall serve ex officio as the governing body of the district, and theofficersofthe county shall serve as the officers ofthegoverningbody of thedistrict.
