The revised version of Senate Bill 955 now allows individuals aged 18 and older to carry certain self-defense devices on college campuses. This change is significant as it expands the rights of young adults to defend themselves in educational settings, potentially affecting campus safety and regulations regarding weapons. The specific items that can be carried include stun guns and other defensive tools, which the bill aims to clarify for students and staff.
