Plain-language change summary

The recent amendment to House Bill 717 includes clarifications on how professional employer organizations can seek a group license when two or more businesses come together. Additionally, it requires that applicants for licensure submit a surety bond of at least $100,000 to ensure they can meet their financial obligations. These changes are significant because they help establish clearer regulations for businesses operating in this sector, ensuring they are financially stable and properly licensed before serving clients.
