What changed in the latest version
180 added · 178 removedPlain-language change summary
The amended version of House Bill 641 adds specific language regarding state funding for public transportation projects that serve more than one county or municipality, including commuter and light rail. These changes clarify that the state will not cover costs that exceed a predetermined limit. This matters because it establishes financial boundaries for state involvement in transportation projects, likely aiming to promote more efficient funding and management of regional public transit systems.
