Plain-language change summary

The latest version of Senate Bill 377 has made some adjustments to the wording but essentially keeps the same provisions intact. Key changes include clarifying that certain contracts by the Commissioner related to preparatory materials will not be regulated under a specific financial threshold. This amendment is important because it helps define what contracts are exempt from additional oversight, potentially streamlining processes for suppliers. Understanding these exemptions is crucial for businesses involved in the production of educational materials, as it affects their compliance requirements.
