What changed in the latest version

In the latest version of House Bill 75, a section was added to clarify what constitutes a "manufacturer" of prescription drugs, specifying that it includes those who repackage drugs for retail sale. This change is important because it aims to hold all parties involved in the production and advertisement of prescription medications accountable for their marketing practices. By ensuring that manufacturers and their affiliates adhere to the same advertising standards, the bill seeks to provide clearer information to consumers about potential side effects, enhancing transparency in pharmaceutical advertising.
