In the latest version of Senate Bill 613, a section about how initial contracts for prepaid health plans (PHP) may be awarded has been updated. Specifically, the wording has changed slightly to clarify that these contracts can have staggered terms of three years. This change matters because it helps ensure a more organized and predictable process for awarding contracts, which could lead to better planning and service delivery in healthcare management.
