Plain-language change summary

In the latest version of Senate Bill 736, some changes were made to clarify the application process for funding and assistance programs. The bill now specifies that the application must conform to a form prescribed by the Secretary, ensuring a more standardized approach. This matters because it could make it easier for individuals and entities seeking funding to navigate the application process and improve transparency and efficiency in how assistance is provided. Additionally, there is a clearer definition of eligibility requirements for tax credits related to contributions, which can help taxpayers better understand their rights and obligations.
