What changed in the latest version
13 added · 14 removedPlain-language change summary
In the latest version of SB 167, there were some technical adjustments made to the language in the bill, specifically regarding the assessment of students with limited English proficiency (LEP). The bill now emphasizes that there should be a funding factor included to better support these students and encourages the development of more bilingual education programs in North Carolina. These changes matter because they aim to provide better resources and opportunities for LEP students, ensuring they have equal access to education and support.
