Plain-language change summary

The recent update to House Bill 726 adds a specification regarding the commission members' compensation. While the earlier version simply stated that commission members would not receive a per diem for their services, the new version confirms that they would still be entitled to travel allowances. This clarification is important because it ensures that commission members can receive some form of reimbursement for expenses incurred while performing their duties, making it more feasible for them to participate actively in the commission's work.
