What changed in the latest version
1020 added · 1042 removedPlain-language change summary
The latest version of Bill SB 710 added a requirement that the Adjutant General of the North Carolina National Guard must be confirmed by the Senate. This change is significant because it introduces a layer of oversight for military leadership appointments, ensuring that such important roles are subject to legislative scrutiny. Additionally, the language around the licensing of alarm security systems has been modernized, streamlining how businesses in this field operate. These updates reflect a push for greater accountability and clarity in military and security regulations.
