Rules, Calendar, and Operations of the House February 12, 2025 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT TO AMEND THE NORTH CAROLINA CONSTITUTION TO REPEAL THE LITERACY TEST REQUIREMENT.
Ballots, votingvotingsystems, systems, or both maymaybe be used in accordance with Chapter 163 of the General Statutes.
"[ ] FOR [ ] AGAINST Constitutional amendment to remove the literacyliteracytest test requirement for voting from the North Carolina Constitution.
If a majoritymajorityof of votes cast on the question are against the amendment set out in Section 1 of this act, the amendment shall have no effect.
