The updated version of House Bill 153 has added additional sponsors, which broadens the support for the bill within the General Assembly. This version also included a minor change in the title formatting. These changes matter because having more sponsors can signal greater legislative support for increasing the fee for vehicle safety inspections, possibly making it easier for the bill to pass.
