The revised version of Senate Bill 631 includes a clearer title for the document and specifies the financial allocation of $14,100,000 in recurring funds for the 2026-2027 fiscal year dedicated to employee salaries at the Division of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. This change not only makes the bill more transparent but also emphasizes the commitment to support and fairly compensate employees in this important sector. These adjustments matter because they ensure that juvenile justice staff are adequately funded, which can improve the quality of services provided to young people in the system.
