In the updated version of Senate Bill 517, clarifications have been made to the reporting requirements for covered entities, specifically emphasizing third-party administrators like pharmacy benefits managers. This change aims to ensure that these entities provide clear and specific information, such as the total number of pharmacies they work with. Such transparency is important as it can help regulators oversee the distribution of medications and ensure that patients have access to necessary services.
