The recent amendments to House Bill 450 clarify the authority of wildlife protectors regarding inspections of commercial premises. Notably, the bill now explicitly states that if access for inspection is denied, protectors can obtain an administrative search warrant to conduct their inspections. This change is significant as it strengthens enforcement of wildlife regulations, ensuring that compliance can be adequately monitored and illegal possession of wildlife can be addressed.
