In the updated version of Senate Bill 781, the language around the Department of Revenue's role in reviewing applications has been refined for clarity. Specifically, the phrase "tentatively shall approve the application" remains the same, which emphasizes that there is a preliminary stage to the approval process. This change matters because clearer language can help ensure that the process is understood and followed correctly, reducing potential confusion for those submitting applications.
