The updated version of Bill HB 5463 now aims to lower the mandatory minimum liability coverage and eliminate extra coverage requirements for county boards of education. This change matters because it potentially reduces financial burdens on schools, allowing them to allocate funds to other important areas, while also raising concerns about their ability to handle liabilities effectively.
