What changed in the latest version
457 added · 568 removedPlain-language change summary
The updated version of Senate Bill 808 simplifies the definition of an "esthetician" by removing some extraneous wording, making it clearer what their role entails. This change is important because it helpfully clarifies the responsibilities and qualifications needed for estheticians, potentially streamlining registration and licensure procedures. Additionally, there were some minor adjustments to ensure that teacher licensing requirements are clearer and more concise, which can facilitate a smoother application process for those seeking to teach cosmetic arts. Overall, these changes aim to improve understanding and efficiency within the licensing process for beauty professionals.
