The updated version of Bill HB 2196 includes two new lines that clarify definitions related to roofing industry licensing, while removing 16 lines of previous text that were no longer necessary. This matters because clearer definitions can help ensure that everyone in the roofing industry understands the rules and regulations, potentially reducing confusion and improving compliance. By making these technical changes, the bill aims to streamline the licensing process for roofers in Illinois.
