Plain-language change summary

The amendment to SB 2772 changes the focus from residential not-for-profit homeowners associations to residential cooperative corporations, specifically those with 24 or more units. This means that now, the rules regarding open board meetings and recording procedures apply specifically to cooperative corporations, allowing residential shareholders greater access and transparency. This matters because it enhances the rights of shareholders to participate in governance and ensures they can hold their boards accountable.
